Who sells
Everything on this site is made and sold by me, Christian Ortiz, an individual publishing as Christian Ortiz Studio, at christianortiz.studio. There’s no team or company behind it; when you write to me, I’m the one who answers.
These terms cover every product I sell, whoever takes the payment. Each product also has its own terms, linked below; where they say more about that product, they apply.
What I sell, and how you pay
| Product | What it is | How you buy it | Who takes the payment |
|---|---|---|---|
| ChatTitleAI | Web app that writes YouTube titles and hooks | Free plan; Pro subscription, $9 a month or $79 a year | Stripe, for me |
| Scout | Web app for market research: ranks the problems a market complains about, with a build spec | First scan free; monthly plans $29, $59 or $129; scan packs $29, $79 or $199 | Stripe, for me |
| Frame to Component | Framer plugin that turns a frame into React code | Free preview; one-time license, $59 | Lemon Squeezy, as merchant of record |
| Page Tree Markdown Export, Safe Tree Copier, Steadfast Gantt Planner | Confluence Cloud apps | Atlassian Marketplace | Atlassian |
| Estimate Scheduler | Jira Cloud app | Atlassian Marketplace | Atlassian |
| Verified Bulk Editor, Bundle-Aware Reorder Planner | Shopify apps | Shopify App Store | Shopify, on your Shopify invoice |
| Countdown to the Minute | iPhone app | App Store, optional one-time in-app purchase | Apple |
Each product’s page says whether it’s available yet and shows its price, or where the price is listed. Prices are in US dollars unless the checkout shows otherwise.
Paying through Stripe
ChatTitleAI and Scout are paid by card through Stripe Checkout. I’m the seller, and Stripe processes the payment for me. I never see or store your full card number.
- A subscription (ChatTitleAI Pro, or a Scout monthly plan) is billed in advance and renews until you cancel. A Scout scan pack is charged once and doesn’t renew.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time from the app: Settings in ChatTitleAI, which opens Stripe’s billing portal, or your account page in Scout.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep what you paid for until the end of the current period.
- If I change a ChatTitleAI price, I’ll give at least 30 days’ notice before it applies to you. Scout price changes apply going forward only, never to a period you’ve already paid for.
Each app’s own terms also apply: ChatTitleAI’s and Scout’s.
Paying through Lemon Squeezy
Frame to Component licenses are sold by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, issues the receipt and handles sales tax, under Lemon Squeezy’s terms. The license is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
The plugin’s terms of use also apply.
Buying through an app marketplace
My Atlassian, Shopify and iPhone apps are paid for through the marketplace you install them from, and its billing rules apply:
- Atlassian Marketplace (Confluence and Jira apps): buying, renewing, invoices and refunds go through Atlassian, under the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use.
- Shopify App Store (Verified Bulk Editor, Bundle-Aware Reorder Planner): plans are billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice, and you change or cancel them in the app.
- App Store (Countdown to the Minute): the in-app purchase is sold by Apple, under Apple’s terms.
Refunds
How a refund works depends on who took your payment.
- ChatTitleAI (Stripe): subscription payments aren’t refundable except where the law requires, and there are no partial refunds for the rest of a period after you cancel, as ChatTitleAI’s terms say. If you were charged by mistake, charged twice, or charged after cancelling, email me and I’ll put it right.
- Scout (Stripe): your first purchase, a scan pack or the first month of a plan, is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of paying; reply to any email from Scout or email me, no reason needed. Beyond that, payments aren’t refundable except where the law requires, as Scout’s terms say.
- Frame to Component (Lemon Squeezy): refunds follow the refund policy shown at checkout. Email me with your order number, or reply to your Lemon Squeezy receipt. If the plugin doesn’t work as its documentation describes, I’ll help or refund you within that policy.
- Atlassian apps: refunds go through Atlassian, under its Marketplace terms.
- Verified Bulk Editor and Bundle-Aware Reorder Planner: email me, and I’ll look at every request fairly.
- Countdown to the Minute: Apple handles refunds; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. I can’t issue them myself.
To ask about a refund for any product, email support@christianortiz.studio with the product, the email address you bought with and, if you have it, your order or invoice number. I reply within two business days. Nothing here takes away a refund right you have under the law where you live.
Chargebacks
If something’s wrong with a charge, please email me first; it’s usually the fastest way to get your money back. If a payment is reversed through your bank, I may suspend the license or subscription it paid for until it’s resolved.
Support
Email support@christianortiz.studio for any product, or team@chattitleai.com for ChatTitleAI. For Scout, you can also reply to any email it sends you. I reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm US Pacific Time), and usually sooner. Each product’s support page has the details.
Your data
My privacy policy explains what this site collects, how payments are handled, and links to each product’s own privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
If I change these terms, I’ll update the date at the top of this page. A change won’t take away anything you’ve already paid for.
