Terms of use
The agreement for using Verified Bulk Editor on your Shopify store.

The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs Verified Bulk Editor (“the app”) on a Shopify store (“you”), and me, Christian Ortiz, an individual publishing as Christian Ortiz Studio (“I”, “me”). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. Your use of Shopify itself stays governed by Shopify’s terms of service.
What the app does
The app changes product data in your store in bulk: prices, compare-at prices, tags, metafields and alt text on existing product images. It shows a preview first, saves the original value of every field before changing it, reads every written value back, and can revert a task to its saved originals, as the documentation describes.
Plans and billing
- The app has a free plan and paid plans. Each plan’s limits are shown in the app on the Plan page and on the App Store listing.
- Paid plans are billed by Shopify, through your Shopify invoice, monthly or yearly, and may start with a free trial. I never collect payment details.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the Plan page. Cancelling or uninstalling stops future charges; Shopify’s billing rules apply to the current period.
- If I change prices, I’ll give at least 30 days’ notice in the app or by email before the change applies to you, and you’ll approve the new price on Shopify’s plan page.
- For a refund, email support@christianortiz.studio. I’ll look at every request fairly.
Changes you confirm
The app writes to your live store. You’re responsible for the changes you set up, schedule and confirm, including checking the preview and its warnings before running a task, and the start and end times of scheduled tasks.
Verification and revert are there to help, not to replace your judgment:
- A verified item means the value your store returned matched what the task wrote, at the moment it was read back.
- Revert writes back the values saved before a task. Items changed in your store since the task are skipped unless you choose to include them.
- Saved originals are kept only for your plan’s history window. After that, a task can’t be reverted.
The app doesn’t control how or when other apps, sales channels (such as Google) or themes use your product data.
Acceptable use
Use the app only on stores you’re allowed to manage, and only in line with Shopify’s terms. Don’t try to break, overload or get around the app’s limits or security.
Support
Support is described on the support page: email support@christianortiz.studio, and I reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm US Pacific Time). There’s no separate service level agreement: I don’t commit to an uptime figure, and the app also depends on Shopify’s services.
Your data
The privacy policy describes exactly what the app stores, where, and for how long, and how it’s deleted when you uninstall. Your product data stays yours.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, I don’t give warranties beyond what these terms and the documentation describe, and I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or profits. To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything relating to the app is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. I can suspend or end access if the app is used against these terms or Shopify’s terms. If I ever stop offering the app, I’ll give at least 60 days’ notice and keep it working for paying merchants until the end of their paid period.
Changes to these terms
If I change these terms, I’ll update the date at the top of this page and give notice in the app or its App Store listing before the change takes effect. A change won’t reduce what I’ve committed to during a period you’ve already paid for.
