How to reach me

Frame to Component is made and supported by me, Christian Ortiz, publishing as Christian Ortiz Studio. Email support@christianortiz.studio and the message comes straight to me. There’s no ticket queue to get lost in.

Before you write, the documentation may already have the answer, especially its FAQ and troubleshooting sections.

When you’ll hear back

I reply to every message within two business days (Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm US Pacific Time), and usually sooner. If you’ve paid and can’t activate your license, put License in the subject line and I’ll look at it first.

Report a bug or a bad conversion

Email me with as much of this as you can:

  • What you selected (a frame or a component) and roughly how many layers it has.
  • What you expected in the code, and what you got instead.
  • The conversion report: a screenshot, or the README.md from the zip, which lists every issue.
  • The generated file, if you can share it, or the lines that are wrong.
  • Any error message, word for word.
  • Whether you use Framer in the browser (which one) or the desktop app.

Please don’t send me your Framer project or an invite to it unless I ask and you’re happy to. A screenshot of the layer panel is usually enough. I’ll confirm I can reproduce it, tell you what I’m doing about it, and let you know when a fix is released.

License and purchase questions

  • Lost your key? It’s in the email from Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy’s order lookup can also send your purchases to you again.
  • Activation limit reached? Choose Remove license key in the plugin where the key is active now, then activate it on the new computer or browser. If you can’t reach that one anymore, email me with your order number and I’ll free it.
  • Refunds follow the refund policy shown at checkout. To ask for one, email me with your order number, or reply to the Lemon Squeezy receipt. The terms have the details.
  • Payment, receipts, invoices and sales tax are handled by Lemon Squeezy, the reseller of the license.

Report a security issue

If you’ve found a security problem, email me with Security in the subject line and include how to reproduce it. Please don’t post it publicly until it’s fixed. I acknowledge security reports within two business days.

Request a feature

I’d like to hear it. Tell me what you’re trying to do and where the plugin gets in the way; the most useful requests describe the job, not just the button. I read every one, and I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s likely to be built.

Your data

The plugin keeps nothing on any server of mine: your design stays in Framer and the generated code stays in your browser.

  • Your options and license key are kept in your browser’s storage for the plugin. Reset to defaults clears the options, Remove license key clears the key, and clearing your browser’s site data removes both.
  • Your purchase record is kept by Lemon Squeezy, and I can see it as the seller. To ask for a copy, a correction or deletion, email me with Data request in the subject. I’ll reply within two business days.
  • Support emails you send me are kept as long as needed to help you, and deleted on request.

The privacy policy has every detail.
