Terms of use
The agreement for using Bundle-Aware Reorder Planner on your Shopify store.

The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you, the merchant who installs Bundle-Aware Reorder Planner (“the app”) on a Shopify store (“you”), and me, Christian Ortiz, an individual publishing as Christian Ortiz Studio (“I”, “me”). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. Your use of Shopify itself stays governed by Shopify’s terms of service.
What the app does
The app reads your store’s products, inventory, locations and orders, and suggests what to reorder and how much, with the calculation behind each suggestion. It rolls bundle and kit sales into component demand, shows how many kits your stock can build, and creates purchase orders for you to send to your suppliers, as the documentation describes.
The app only reads your store. It never changes products, stock, orders or anything else in Shopify, and it never contacts your suppliers. Purchase orders live in the app until you send them yourself.
Plans and billing
- The app has a free plan and paid plans (Free, Standard and Pro). Each plan’s limits are shown in the app under Settings and on the App Store listing, along with the prices.
- Paid plans are billed by Shopify, through your Shopify invoice, monthly, and start with a 7-day free trial. I never collect payment details.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Settings. Cancelling or uninstalling stops future charges; Shopify’s billing rules apply to the current period.
- If I change prices, I’ll give at least 30 days’ notice in the app or by email before the change applies to you, and you’ll approve the new price on Shopify’s plan page.
- For a refund, email support@christianortiz.studio. I’ll look at every request fairly.
Your decisions
Suggestions are calculated from your store’s data and the settings you choose. They’re there to help you decide, not to decide for you. You’re responsible for what you order, including checking quantities, prices and suppliers before you send a purchase order.
- A suggestion is only as accurate as the data behind it: your sales history, stock levels, lead times, component maps and the settings you choose. Sales history depends on how much order history Shopify lets the app read.
- Stock counts are updated from Shopify’s notifications and a nightly check, so they can lag behind your store for a short time.
- The app doesn’t control your suppliers, deliveries, or how other apps change your stock or orders.
Acceptable use
Use the app only on stores you’re allowed to manage, and only in line with Shopify’s terms. Enter supplier contact details only where you’re allowed to use them. Don’t try to break, overload or get around the app’s limits or security.
Support
Support is described on the support page: email support@christianortiz.studio, and I reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm US Pacific Time). There’s no separate service level agreement: I don’t commit to an uptime figure, and the app also depends on Shopify’s services.
Your data
The privacy policy describes exactly what the app stores, where, and for how long, and how it’s deleted when you uninstall. Your store’s data and the suppliers, settings and purchase orders you create stay yours. Export them before you uninstall if you want to keep them: everything is deleted within an hour of uninstalling.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, I don’t give warranties beyond what these terms and the documentation describe, and I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or profits, or the cost of stock ordered too early or too late. To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything relating to the app is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. I can suspend or end access if the app is used against these terms or Shopify’s terms. If I ever stop offering the app, I’ll give at least 60 days’ notice and keep it working for paying merchants until the end of their paid period.
Changes to these terms
If I change these terms, I’ll update the date at the top of this page and give notice in the app or its App Store listing before the change takes effect. A change won’t reduce what I’ve committed to during a period you’ve already paid for.
