Translated Page Copies

Terms of use

The agreement for using Translated Page Copies in Framer and for the Pro licence you buy for it, including refunds.

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you, the person who uses the Framer plugin Translated Page Copies (“the plugin”) or buys a licence for it (“you”), and me, Christian Ortiz, an individual publishing as Christian Ortiz Studio (“I”, “me”). By using the plugin or buying a licence, you agree to them. Your use of Framer itself stays governed by Framer’s terms of service.

What the plugin does

The plugin copies the Framer pages you choose to per-language paths as drafts, translates their text and the CMS collections you choose, points links on the copies at the translated pages, and can insert a language switcher and, with your consent, hreflang tags in your site’s custom code, as the documentation describes. It doesn’t change your source pages or collections, and it doesn’t publish anything: you publish the copies yourself.

Free use and the Pro licence

  • The free tier covers 1 language, 3 pages and 1 collection of up to 25 items, with every engine and the file route, with no account and no time limit.
  • Pro removes those limits and adds Update translations. It’s a one-time licence, not a subscription. Its price is on the product page and at checkout.
  • Licences are sold by Lemon Squeezy, as the reseller (merchant of record). Lemon Squeezy’s terms apply to the purchase itself: payment, receipts and sales tax. Framer doesn’t take part in the payment.
  • The licence is for you. Each key can be activated up to 3 times; Deactivate on this browser frees an activation. Don’t share or resell your key.
  • The plugin checks the key with Lemon Squeezy, and keeps Pro working offline for 30 days after the last successful check.

Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying a licence. Email support@christianortiz.studio with your order number, or reply to your Lemon Squeezy receipt. The refund is processed through Lemon Squeezy, and the refunded key is deactivated. After 14 days, if the plugin doesn’t work for you as the documentation describes, tell me and I’ll help. Nothing here takes away a refund right you have under the law where you live. My terms of sale and refunds cover every product I sell.

Charges from your translation provider (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) are between you and that provider, and I can’t refund them.

Your translation provider and your key

If you use OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Cloud Translation, you do so under your own account and agreement with that provider, and the provider bills you directly. The plugin sends text from your browser straight to the provider you choose, with your key; I don’t see the text or the key. The cost estimate in the plugin is only an estimate. You’re responsible for keeping your key safe and for what you send to your provider. The file route (CSV or XLIFF) involves no provider at all.

Your content and the translations

Your pages, your text and the translations the plugin writes into your project are yours. You can use, change and publish them however you like, without crediting me. The plugin itself, its source and its design stay mine.

Machine translation can be wrong. You’re responsible for having the rights to the content you translate, and for reviewing the translations before you publish them; the plugin shows every string for review before anything is written, and copies stay drafts until you publish them. The report after each run lists what the plugin couldn’t reach (such as shared components, page titles and meta descriptions); those steps are for you to do by hand.

Acceptable use

Use the plugin only in line with Framer’s terms and your translation provider’s terms. Don’t try to get around the licence check or the free-tier limits, copy or redistribute the plugin, or overload Lemon Squeezy’s licence service.

Support

Support is described on the support page: email support@christianortiz.studio, and I reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm US Pacific Time). There’s no separate service level agreement. The plugin depends on Framer’s editor and its plugin API, on your translation provider, and, for the licence check, on Lemon Squeezy’s service; I don’t control any of them.

Your data

The privacy policy describes exactly what the plugin reads and writes in your project, what it sends and to whom, and what it keeps on your device. Nothing you translate is ever sent to me.

Warranty and liability

The plugin is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, I don’t give warranties beyond what these terms and the documentation describe, including about the quality of machine translations, and I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost work or provider charges. To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything relating to the plugin is limited to what you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by no longer using the plugin. The copies and collections it made stay in your project as ordinary Framer content. I can deactivate a key that’s shared, resold, refunded or charged back. If I ever stop offering the plugin, I’ll say so at least 60 days in advance on its Marketplace listing.

Changes to these terms

If I change these terms, I’ll update the date at the top of this page and give notice on the plugin’s Marketplace listing before the change takes effect. A change won’t take away what you’ve already paid for.
