Page Tree Markdown Export

Terms of use

Page Tree Markdown Export is licensed under the Atlassian Marketplace end-user agreement. These are the provider-specific terms that go with it.

Last updated

The agreement

Your use of Page Tree Markdown Export (“the app”), a Confluence Cloud app that exports Confluence Cloud page trees and spaces to Markdown, is governed by the standard Atlassian Marketplace end-user agreement (the Bonterms Standard End User Agreement, version 1.0). It’s an agreement between your organization (“you”) and me, Christian Ortiz, an individual publishing as Christian Ortiz Studio (“I”, “me”), as the app’s provider.

What follows are the Provider-Specific Terms that agreement refers to. The same terms are on the app’s Atlassian Marketplace listing. They add to the standard agreement; they don’t replace it.

Buying, renewing, invoices and refunds go through Atlassian, under the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use between you and Atlassian.

Provider and notices

The provider is Christian Ortiz, publishing as Christian Ortiz Studio. Send notices under the agreement, and any questions about these terms, to support@christianortiz.studio.

Support policy

Support is described on the app’s support page:

  • Email support@christianortiz.studio. Every message comes straight to me.
  • I reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm US Pacific Time), and usually sooner. Messages marked Urgent for site-wide outages or suspected data loss come first.
  • There’s no separate service level agreement: I don’t commit to an uptime figure. The app runs on Atlassian’s platform, so its availability also depends on Atlassian’s services, which I don’t control.

Data protection

The data processing agreement is the Data Protection Addendum for the app. The privacy policy describes exactly what the app stores, where, and for how long.

Security measures

The security measures for the app are the ones in the Security section of the privacy policy. Report security issues to support@christianortiz.studio with Security in the subject line.

Exports you download

The app only reads your Confluence site; it can’t change anything there. It converts what you choose to export into Markdown and tells you, in each export’s report, what it couldn’t reproduce faithfully. Check the report before you rely on an export. Once you download a ZIP, keeping that file safe is up to you: it’s outside Confluence and outside the app.

If I stop offering the app

If I ever stop offering the app, I’ll give at least 60 days’ notice and keep it working for paying customers until the end of their paid period.

Governing law

These terms don’t change the governing law or venue. The standard agreement’s own provisions apply.

Changes to these terms

If I change these terms, I’ll update the date at the top of this page and on the Marketplace listing, and give notice in the app’s release notes or listing before the change takes effect. A change won’t reduce what I’ve committed to during a period you’ve already paid for.
