Terms of use
Estimate Scheduler is licensed under the Atlassian Marketplace end-user agreement. These are the provider-specific terms that go with it.

The agreement
Your use of Estimate Scheduler (“the app”), a Jira Cloud app that schedules issues on a Gantt chart from their estimates, is governed by the standard Atlassian Marketplace end-user agreement (the Bonterms Standard End User Agreement, version 1.0). It’s an agreement between your organization (“you”) and me, Christian Ortiz, an individual publishing as Christian Ortiz Studio (“I”, “me”), as the app’s provider.
What follows are the Provider-Specific Terms that agreement refers to. The same terms are on the app’s Atlassian Marketplace listing. They add to the standard agreement; they don’t replace it.
Buying, renewing, invoices and refunds go through Atlassian, under the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use between you and Atlassian.
Provider and notices
The provider is Christian Ortiz, publishing as Christian Ortiz Studio. Send notices under the agreement, and any questions about these terms, to support@christianortiz.studio.
Support policy
Support is described on the app’s support page:
- Email support@christianortiz.studio. Every message comes straight to me.
- I reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm US Pacific Time), and usually sooner. Messages marked Urgent, such as dates written to Jira that shouldn’t have been, come first.
- There’s no separate service level agreement: I don’t commit to an uptime figure. The app runs on Atlassian’s platform, so its availability also depends on Atlassian’s services, which I don’t control.
Data protection
The data processing agreement is the Data Protection Addendum for the app. The privacy policy describes exactly what the app reads, stores and writes, where, and for how long.
Security measures
The security measures for the app are the ones in the Security section of the privacy policy. Report security issues to support@christianortiz.studio with Security in the subject line.
Dates you write to Jira
The app computes dates from your estimates, story points, working calendar and links, and shows them in the app. It changes Jira only when one of your users chooses Write dates to Jira, reviews the preview and confirms, and then only the start and due date fields of the issues they selected, with their own Jira permissions.
You’re responsible for the schedules your team builds and the dates it writes, including checking the preview before confirming. Computed dates are only as good as the estimates, settings and links they come from. Dates written to Jira become part of your issues and stay there, with Jira’s own history, if the app is removed.
If I stop offering the app
If I ever stop offering the app, I’ll give at least 60 days’ notice and keep it working for paying customers until the end of their paid period.
Governing law
These terms don’t change the governing law or venue. The standard agreement’s own provisions apply.
Changes to these terms
If I change these terms, I’ll update the date at the top of this page and on the Marketplace listing, and give notice in the app’s release notes or listing before the change takes effect. A change won’t reduce what I’ve committed to during a period you’ve already paid for.
